Gilles Brabant, who joined Ingenico ePayments (formerly Ogone) in November 2012 as Senior Sales Manager, has a solid experience in managing client projects on a global scale. Since June 2015 Gilles leads the commercial team of Ingenico ePayments France who assist French merchants and partners in their national and international development.

Johan Been Vice President Client Operations, Ingenico ePayments

Johan is a seasoned professional in the payments industry with 25 years of experience and deep understanding of how customers’ needs have evolved over time. Johan joined Ingenico ePayments (formerly GlobalCollect) in 2013, responsible for the company’s operations and customer care strategy. In this role, he’s responsible for the Ingenico ePayments’ customer care strategy, and translating the strategy into workable, customer oriented solutions.

Prior to this, Johan was Chief Technology Officer at CCV, a leading European player in the card-present industry. During his time at Equens, Johan also held various other leadership roles in IT/Operations as well as Acquiring and Processing Services. His experience spans over the introduction of the Dutch online debit card system PIN, the Euro and later the introduction of EMV throughout Europe. Before his time at Equens, Johan also worked at Prolin and Hewlett Packard.

Johan Been holds a degree in Business Informatics from the Hogeschool voor Economische Studies in Amsterdam and he lives in Hilversum with his wife and two kids.

Joseph Leija General Manager, North America at Ingenico ePayments

Joseph Leija is General Manager, North America at Ingenico ePayments. He has over 20 years'​ generating top results in the banking and electronic payments industry and has worked with many of the top 100 global eCommerce merchants, enabling them to expand their businesses internationally. Before joining Ingenico ePayments, Leija worked with Sage Payment Services, helping to expand the company’s footprint among associations and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). Prior to that, he was a Vice President with Chase Paymentech, running a team that consulted directly with merchants and supporting their global expansions. Earlier in his career, Leija worked for First Data, where he managed the Relationship Management team supporting T&E clients. In addition, Leija developed and supported the company’s international strategy. He has an MBA in Finance from Loyola University Chicago, and he currently lives in San Francisco with his family.

Laurent Mayer Retail Product Manager / Ingenico Group

Laurent Mayer is in charge of Ingenico's retail product line, ranging from simple retail pinpads to multimedia signature devices. He oversaw the launch of our latest generation Tetra retail range.

Laurent Mayer joined Ingenico 13 years ago as a software developer, later advancing to project manager and program manager positions.  In 2014 he turned his focus to business by taking up the role of Retail Product Manager.

Laurent Mayer graduated in engineering in 2000.

Michel Léger EVP Innovation / Ingenico Group

Michel has over 25 years of international experience in electronic payments.

Michel Léger (1960) was appointed EVP Innovation in January 2015. He joined the Group in 2010 to take over management of the company’s EMEA segment and became EVP Marketing & Global Sales in 2013. He began his career with Schlumberger in 1985 where he was in charge of sales and marketing for the North American market. In 2003 he was named General Manager of the Payment Terminal Division for Axalto (ex Schlumberger) and held a similar position at Gemalto until 2009. He also helped develop Gemalto’s e-payment market on a global scale.

Nick Tubb General Manager, Ingenico ePayments Asia Pacific

Nick Tubb is General Manager, Asia Pacific for Ingenico ePayments, heading the holistic go-to-market strategies and business expansion of our online and mobile payments in the region.

As an experienced and veteran of the payments industry, Tubb most recently worked as Vice President of Professional Services, during which he established and ran the company’s Professional Services group from its Amsterdam headquarters. He joined Ingenico ePayments (formerly GlobalCollect) in 2012, and oversaw the growth of the technical sales and consultancy  groups which provide value-add services, functional consultancy and industry expertise to the  global client base. Prior to his tenure at Ingenico ePayments he enjoyed a 13 year career in non-bank foreign exchange, leading business acquisition and growth teams in Europe, the US and Australia.

Tubb holds a Bachelor of Arts, Modern Languages from the Southampton Solent University.
